![]() The upcoming release of Diablo 4 will feature an increased focus on the live-service model, more so than any previous iteration of the game. ![]() When the season comes to close, seasonal characters will move to the “Eternal Realm,” where players can continue leveling up and getting stronger outside of the seasonal pool. Players will start each season by creating a new character from scratch, and then level up their character like normal, playing through a variety of Diablo 4’s activities, gaining gear, and getting stronger. Completing ranks in the Season Pass will allow players to earn new ranks and cosmetic rewards. In Diablo 4, there will be a seasonal content model called Seasons, with each Season lasting three months and equipped with its own Season Pass. As more information is announced about Diablo 2: Resurrected’s Ladder system, players can stay updated and prepare for the next reset or rotation. With the addition of never-seen-before Runewords for Ladder players, there’s even more incentive to participate in the Ladder and strive for a higher rank. The Ladder system provides players with a fresh start every few months, allowing them to compete against others for a chance to climb the ranks and earn exclusive rewards. In addition, unique items can be upgraded when playing through the Ladder, which is unavailable to non-Ladder players unless they are playing single-player. If you choose to participate in the Ladder system, you can earn upgraded items and Runewords that are not available to non-Ladder players. Some players have theorized that the system will rotate every three months. The Ladder resets approximately every six months, but with the remaster, Blizzard has announced that they are considering more frequent restarts.
